Trace I – Raised

Trace I – Raised is a sculptural ceramic object that explores balance, material tension, and architectural presence. Hand-built using high-fired stoneware, this piece features a grounded base and a horizontally expanded body, subtly marked with linear relief details that echo structural imprints.

Its unglazed, sand-rich surface reveals the raw character of the clay—offering a tactile, earthy texture that shifts with light throughout the day. The form sits between object and artifact, evoking a sense of quiet permanence.
