Küp No.1

Küp No.1 is a sculptural ceramic vessel inspired by ancient forms and reinterpreted through a contemporary, material-driven approach. Its rounded, grounded body and minimal opening create a strong, quiet presence—evoking the simplicity of early utilitarian objects.

Hand-built in stoneware, the form is shaped with subtle asymmetries and surface variations that reflect the tactile nature of the process. The matte black finish enhances its weight and depth, emphasizing the raw, elemental quality of the material.

Small perforations near the neck introduce a functional and visual detail, referencing traditional carrying or hanging methods while adding a subtle sense of structure.

Positioned between artifact and contemporary object, Kup No.1 functions as a sculptural vessel—capable of holding dried arrangements or standing alone as a statement form.

Designed for contemporary, minimal, and wabi-sabi inspired interiors, it brings a sense of stillness and permanence to a space.

Each piece is individually handmade, resulting in unique variations in form and surface.
